Tamasya literally means ‘to go on a vacation’ in Bahasa Indonesia. The series reimagines the golden days of getting lost exploring enchanting corners of the Indonesian archipelago, without the distraction that today’s technology may present.
The fragments of imageries are paired with lyrics of related classic Indonesian folk songs. The pieces combine hand-cut collage technique with risograph printing. Offline Tamasya was part of 'Re-Imagining An Archipelago' exhibition by The 1984 in Tokyo, 2016.
